commissions

I. GENERAL TERMS
I keep the right to refuse any requests without having to give any reasons. I will always notify you if I turn your request down.
I keep the right to cancel the commission at any moment.
Commissions I make are not private unless discussed prior to the payment.
To commission me you must be of legal age.II. PAYMENT
I will send an invoice once everything has been agreed upon to which you will have to agree to in order to set up your commission. To this end, sensitive and legal information may be revealed and in such a case, both parties agree to keep all personal informations private.
Payment via PayPal : 50% upfront payment due once accepted / before first sketch, remainder due upon completion (prior to art delivery).
If the invoice has not been paid 48 hours after I sent it, I consider that you do not want to commission me anymore and the invoice as well as the commission will be canceled.
Delivery date will be discussed by email.III. REFUNDING POLICY
No refunds except if I did not start the work or cancelled by myself the commission. Take in mind I start to draw only after the payment is made.IV. PROCESS
Turnaround can take up to 1 month. I sometimes handle multiple projects at once, so delays may occur. I do not have to abide by any deadline but will always do my best to fulfill your order as soon as I can.
Visual references are required (pictures, texts, collages, 3D models, anything than can help) ; written descriptions are welcomed as long as there are visual references to go by. I need visuals of the character you want me to draw and example(s) of the result you have in mind.
I will not copy another artist's designs or characters. Of course inspirations are welcome and could be used as visual reference.You will receive WIP about these steps :
– rough idea of the drawing
– sketch
– flat colorWhen I send you the WIP you can ask for changes if needed but keep in mind that there’s a limit to how many times I allow edits.
One full sketch redraw is free. Free edits : sketch/flat (≤4). Later : 10€. Final : critical fixes only.
I will keep you updated on the status of your commission but you may message me for updates anytime you want.
Once the commission is sent I can not make any changes in the finished piece.
Delivery in PNG & JPG via WeTransfer (stored for 3 days).V. COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICY
Commercial commissions may abide by different term.
I reserve copyright to the artwork. I keep the freedom to use it online for my portfolio, social medias, artbooks, selling it as a print or merchandise, editing it in any kind of way, etc…
You retain rights to your character : I will never claim your original character is mine or was designed by me unless it was.What the commissioner cannot do :
- You cannot edit the artwork in any way except if we have discussed it and I have agreed upon it.
- You cannot claim you made the artwork.
- You cannot remove my signature.
- You cannot supply the artwork to generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) like Stable Diffusion, Dall-E, Midjourney, etc...
- You cannot use the artwork in any commercial way or for NFTs or crypto projects.What the commissioner can do :
- You can use the artwork for personal use only (icons, prints, profiles, etc.)
- You can post anywhere the watermarked version if you credit my name and do not make a profit out of it.VI. CHARGEBACK AND ISSUES
If you have any issue with the artwork or about our exchange, please make sure to contact me before engaging in any kind of procedure.
If you file a chargeback against me, you lose all the rights on all the artworks I ever made for you. You will also lose permanently the right to commission me ever again.
